Heidilyn and Jeremy stepped in last minute to babysit John Tyler while I was in labor. Heidilyn also saved me from sugar deprivation...while in the hospital I kept asking the nurses for a donut, cake, a cookie, something. They kept saying that they would get me something and I'd wait and wait...Heidi came to visit and she brought the first treat I had since having Kailee....my favorite no-bake cookies!!! Now, you all should know that I don't like regular no-bake cookies, I only like hers! She makes them so that they are goey and fudgy instead of dry. I tried to make them myself but they just didn't work like hers! To add to her sweetness, she called and asked if she could make us dinner twice! I was most thankful for her sacrifice to be with me in the hospital even longer than she was supposed to...she skipped some work to keep me company while J.C was in class. What a blessing to have her and Jeremy in town!
Britt was our main lifesaver this week. I have no idea what I ever would have done without her. She has kept our house clean, the laundry going, John Tyler happy, and given me a chance to rest and just do the fun, loving things with both children. She made it so that J.C was able to study and do the things he needed to do in order to not flunk out of the Master's Program. He had a big test on Thursday and couldn't be with me the way he was when John Tyler was born. Besides being a physical help (housework and taking care of John Tyler), Brittany was also a great emotional support to me as I'm sure I would have felt exceptionally lonely without her here. I tend to really need people around during big life changes and my very best friend (in case you didn't know, J.C) just couldn't be around as much as we wished this time!
IN SUMMARY- THANK YOU A TON HEIDI AND BRITT!!
