I guess that there was some group there re-enacting the events leading up to the crucifixion since the day we went was the Friday before easter. This is just one of the pictures while they marched this guy to the area where they lifted up the cross. The mimicked mocking, whipping, kicking ans spitting on him as the person representing Christ wailed quite loudly. At Noon he was tied up to his cross making some horrific noises. It was certainly interesting to be there on that particular day and witness this unique worship service.
