We were driving to Venice when we saw this cow and had to pull over.
If you see this next picture you'll see why. John Tyler has become attached to his Mr. Moo friend that he met for Christmas and this must be where he came from. They even both have horns!
I managed to get him to relax long enough to pose for the photo, but he was definitley curious about this big beast I was making him stand next to. He was a little shy which tells me we've got some work to do when we get home if he is going to pin calves at branding this year. It's funny how little kids can recognize which figures ought to have life in them and how they instinctively know which are more powerful than them and which are other little people like them.
