Our post-exam pre-send Beki home trip

Below you will see the synopsis of our 9 day trek through Italy and France. Although it is wildly out of order and may seem confusing at times, do not dismay and enjoy some of the photos we have posted.

To offer a little structure: We left our apartment at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday (18th March) and Flew to an airport near Milan. We drove to A little town north of Venice about 2:15 hrs away. The next day, we drove into Venice, saw what there was to see, then drove 6:30 hrs to Rome (including a couple of potty breaks). Beki and John Tyler were little sick so we drove into rome that afternoon, then came back to the hotel. On Friday, we were up by seven and I pushed Beki and little John Tyler so hard that we had seen Vatican City and ancient Rome by 6:00 that evening. We jumped in the car and narrowly arrived at our hotel on the beach outside of Pisa four hours from Roma. On Saturday, we woke up at 8:00, drove to Florence to see some art (including the statue of David) and came back to Pisa to see the leaning tower that afternoon. Sunday we left for the airport about 5:30 and arrived in Paris about 9:00 a.m. By 12:00 we wereresting in our hotel and getting ready for our anniversary on Monday the 24th. After spending Monday and Tuesday in Paris, we flew back to London and spent the night in a Hotel near the Airport. Beki barely made her flight but now she is currently baby-sitting in Idaho (Liz and Lyman better be having a productive trip. If I find out they're wasting time, their gonna get it).

I am staying here until the coming Thursday so that I can work at the Agricultural Economics Society conference and have some extra time to work on our (my MBA group) consulting project. On Thursday I will fly back to that states and be in Idaho working with (for the project, not a job unfortuneately) the grain trading company we are consulting. In May I will come back to England to finsih all of the school business and by June 1 we will officially be back in Logan.

We'll continue to update this blog, but if you start to wonder why there are pictures in Idaho, don't be confused.

Please forgive us for what some of you may deem over-posting pictures of John Tyler, it is just that we are in love with him and everything he does. We couldn't imagine our lives without the little guy and can only say positive things about what he brought to our experience. We wouldn't have traded the time with him for a vacation without him.

Hey Beki and J.C.,

Michael asked me to try and snoop around a bit to see if I could find any of the cousins on blogs. We have Ben and Jonice's blog, so I found you guys on there. I feel like such a stalker! :) Anyway, we just wanted to let you know that we have a blog, too--though it is not usually as updated as it is today. Here's the URL: michael-anita.blogspot.com. Hope you're doing good! It was so fun to see you at our graduation! So glad you could come!
