Beki and I made it to the Vatican despite the day before being burned up by sleep-demanding sickness. We Spent the entire morning and a little of the afternoon seeing all the major stuff, including the Sistine Chapel, Hall of Maps and so on and so forth. It was especially interesting to be there the weekend before Easter and know that a lot of preparation was going on for the Catholic observance. As you can imagine, it was crawling with people and security. It was very good to see everything there.
